Dr. Ignacio Del Carmen Ortega is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Tijuana, Mexico, recognized for his exceptional precision and patient-focused care. He earned his medical degree from the Higher School of Medicine at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), graduating first in his class of 335 students and receiving the prestigious Pfizer Award for Academic Excellence.
He completed his general surgery training at Central Norte Hospital (PEMEX) before specializing in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery at Mexico City’s world-renowned Hospital General “Dr. Manuel Gea González”.
